Inbox
View and manage messages from your public profile contact form.
Inbox
The Inbox is where all messages submitted through your public profile contact form are collected. Whether visitors use the default contact form or your custom-built form, every submission lands here.

Inbox Layout
The page is split into two panels:
- Left panel (Message List) — scrollable list of all messages showing contact name, company, email preview, date, and read/unread status. Unread messages have a purple left border.
- Right panel (Message Detail) — full details of the selected message including all form fields, contact info, and action buttons.
The header shows a purple badge with the unread count (e.g., "3 new") and the subtitle "Messages from your network profile page."
Search, Filter & Sort
Three controls in the header:
- Search — filters messages by name, email, company, details, or any custom form field value
- Filter — show All Messages, Unread only, or Read only
- Sort — Newest First, Oldest First, or By Company
Reading Messages
Click any message in the list to view its full details in the right panel. The detail view shows:
- Contact name and company (or organization)
- Date and time of submission
- Form type badge — "Custom Form" if submitted via your custom form
- All form fields displayed in a grid under "Contact Information" with field labels and values
- For custom forms with checkboxes/multi-select, values are shown comma-separated
Message Actions
Three action buttons appear at the bottom of each message:
- Mark as Read / Mark as Unread — toggles the read status
- Delete — opens a confirmation modal, then permanently removes the message
- Reply by Email — opens your email client with the sender's email pre-filled
You can also toggle read status and delete directly from the message list using the small icon buttons on each row.
How Messages Get Here
When someone visits your public profile (listener.com/your-handle) and submits the contact form:
- 1The message is saved to your inbox with a unique ID and timestamp
- 2It's marked as unread by default
- 3An email notification is sent to the network owner's email address
- 4The profile's contact clicks counter is incremented
