The Cluster Builder
Use the visual graph editor to add content, connect nodes, and build your episode cluster.
The Cluster Builder
The Cluster Builder is a visual graph editor that displays your episode as a central node with clips and posts connected around it.
Node Types
- Episode — The main episode node (audio content, positioned at the top)
- Clip — Video or audio clips (YouTube, Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook Reels, Spotify episodes, etc.)
- Post — Text-based content (X/Twitter posts, LinkedIn posts, Threads, Beehiiv newsletters, Facebook posts)
Each node shows platform-specific metrics like views, likes, comments, shares, plays, or impressions.
Adding Content from Integrations
The sidebar lists all your connected platforms. Click a platform to browse your content library:
- Audio — Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Simplecast, Transistor, Art19
- Long-form Video — YouTube
- Social — Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, LinkedIn, Threads, Beehiiv
Select any piece of content to add it as a node. An edge is automatically created connecting it to your episode node.
Adding External Content
Click Add External Content to pull in content from any URL — even content you don't own. Listener auto-detects the platform from the URL and fetches real analytics (views, likes, comments).
Batch URL Processing
Switch to Multiple URLs mode to add several pieces of content at once:
- 1Paste URLs one per row
- 2Each URL is auto-detected for platform
- 3Click Add All to process them in batch
- 4A summary shows which succeeded and which failed
View Modes
Toggle between two views:
- Graph — The default node-and-edge visual editor
- Timeline — A chronological list view of all content
Format by Platform
Click Format Cluster to auto-arrange nodes by platform. Episode nodes go to the top, then platforms alternate left and right below — keeping the graph organized.
Deleting Nodes
Click the delete button on any node to remove it and its connected edges from the cluster.
Auto-Save
Changes are automatically saved to your account as you edit. The cluster data is synced in real time.
